About Us

The roots of the Benard family run deep in the New England construction industry. Bob Benard began providing construction equipment, support, and services to the region in 1964 and started stocking Clark Michigan wheel loaders in 1974. About 10 years later, Volvo purchased Clark Michigan, expanded their product line, and the Benard family’s long relationship with Volvo had begun. Woodco Machinery, Inc. was founded in 1997 and continued to offer their New England community the same Volvo heavy equipment that the Benard family had been offering for the previous 23 years.

Our Equipment

While Volvo construction equipment has always been the primary product line at Woodco due to their focus on quality and support, we have added a few other lines over the years. Today, we also carry Carlson paving products, Mauldin paving products, SDLG wheel loader attachments, and several other attachment manufacturers.
